Narrative

The hills lying between Worsley Icefalls to the north and Astro Glacier to the south. Plotted by the U.S. Geological Survey from air photographs taken by the U.S. Navy in 1960-62. Named by USACAN after M.D. Turner, USARP representative in 1959-60, who carried out geological studies in the dry valley areas west of McMurdo Sound.
