Narrative
An island about 2 km long and 1 km wide, about 4 km west of Davis station in the Vestfold Hills. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from aerial photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Breidneskollen (The Broad Cape Knoll). Renamed by ANCA after L.G. Gardner, diesel mechanic at Davis, 1958.
