Narrative

A bay just west of Jelbart Glacier in Mac.Robertson Land. Photographed from the air by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Isvika (The Ice Bay) by Norwegian Cartographers. Visited by ANARE parties in 1954 and 1955.

Named For

Renamed after Dr. R. Allison, medical officer at Mawson in 1955.
