Narrative
A group of islands in the northern part of the Windmill Islands, north of Wilkes station. The region was photographed by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47), ANARE (1956 & 1962) and the Soviet Antarctic Expedition 1956. It was included in a survey of the area north of Wilkes by C.R. Eklund, scientific leader at Wilkes in 1958. The group was called Swain Islands by USACAN.
