Narrative

An island just north-west of Casey station on Bailey Peninsula, Windmill Islands. Three bollards on the eastern end of the island are used to moor ship unloading bulk fuel at Casey. Named after R.T. Nicholson, senior carpenter, who took a leading part in the construction of Casey during 1966 and who was in charge of the construction party in 1968.
