A long bay lying between the eastern side of the Amery Ice Shelf and the Ingrid Christensen Coast. Discovered and explored in February, 1935, by Capt. Klarius Mikkelsen in the norwegian whale-oil tanker Thorshavn. Called Olaf Prydz Bukt after Olaf Prydz, general manager of the Hvalfangernes Assuranceforening, Sandefjord, Norway.
