Narrative

An 8km long and averaging 2.6km wide, roughly crescent-shaped glacier on Livingston Island. Head bounded by Pliska Ridge to the SSW, W├Ârner Gap to the E, and Mount Bowles to the NNE. Draining northwestward between Burdick Ridge and Mount Bowles, then N of Rezen Knoll turning WSW and flowing N of Balkan Snowfield and Bulgarian Beach into the head of Emona Anchorage. Heavily crevassed lower half, receiving ice influx also from Balkan Snowfield and from an ice-cap portion located W of Hemus Peak and NE of Emona Anchorage. Named after the settlement of Perunika in Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria.
