Debe su nombre a su cercanía al pico Aguja. Alcanza un altura de 1.744 metros. Bautizado posiblemente por la expedición histórica del "Discovery" en 1835. Pico situado sobre la costa SE de la isla Livingston, de las islas Shetland del Sur, entre las puntas Pin y Barnard, a 4,5 millas al ENE del pico Aguja.
