Narrative

Fue descubierta el 8 de diciembre de 1893 por el capitán C. A. Larsen, quien le dio el nombre por Williams Robertson, codueño de la firma Woltereck y Rovertson, de Hamburgo, los cuales enviaron el barco de Larsen, el "Jason". Isla cubierta de hielo de unas 12 millas de largo y unas 6 millas de ancho, que se extiende en una dirección NW-SE al extremo E del nunatks Seal y a unas 30 millas al S de cabo Sobral, en la costa E de la península Tierra de O'Higgins. Su cima es redonda, alcanza una altura de 400 mts. El extremo se presenta libre de hielos y la piedra descubierta es de color castaño oscuro.
