Origin

This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A seasonal river which has source from the water melting from the Collins Icecap. The river originates from a small lake east to Dajiao Hu, flows south along the terrain and runs out of the lake from the south end. After that, the river gradually disappears in the ice gully. It was named by Wuhan Technology University of Surveying when aerial surveying and mapping in 1986.
