This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The hill is located in the western Larsemann Hill from the Wuyue Bandao, a hill from the bottom of Putuo Wan, 56 meters above sea level. The north slope is steep coast, the south slope covered with snow all year round. While overlooking the hill, just like a dog barking towards the sea. It was named when surveying and mapping in 1991.
