This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A group of rocky mountains is located on the east part of Xiongmao Dao, on the top of which there are three linked peaks; it is 1km southeast to north peak mountain and Xiaowu Xia. It was named when surveying and mapping in 1993.
