Origin

This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

It is one of the four exposed rocks, which are located on the 2km-long east coast of the northern part of Stornes Peninsula. This area of exposed rock is located at the northern end, of which the highest point is 55 meters above sea level. It was named when surveying and mapping in the sequence of the four areas of exposed rocks in 1991.
