This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A small saddle-shaped rolling hill, adjacent to the west Daming Hu, located at east bank of southern Nella Fiord, has steep cliffs in the ocean side and gentle slope on the eastern side; it south extends to the Longquan Hu. It was named when aerial photos surveying and mapping in January 1990 based on its shape and an altitude of 57 meters only.
