This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A small bay located at north bay of the west of the Wuyue Bandao, which is shaped like a cow's stomach. It has a narrow entrance and vast in-bay area. It is a great shelter from wind. The southwest coast of the bay is steeply shaped, While its east coast is more even and goes straight into the ocean. Geological conditions are advantageous here. It was named when surveying and mapping in 1993.
