This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A rocky hill at the connection point of bare rock and ice sheet over the Xiehe Bandao. The mountain is 86 meters high, its west hill abutting Mi'er Hu,and 400 meters southeast of it locates the Soviet Progress Station. Looking south at the top, the station comes into view first, and then the vast white ice sheet landscape afar, depicting a magnificent picture. It was named when aerial photos surveying and mapping in 1992.
