Origin

This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A small lake on the southeast slope of Mochou Hu. In summer the snow cover on the mountain melts and flows into the lake, and later into Mochou lake. While constructing the Zhongshan Station, the first landing team members often drink water from the small lake. It was named when surveying and mapping at the beginning of 1989.
