This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

Lake Taihu is a small lake that is located to the east of Lake Qingren and to the north of the Meihua Mountain. The water of the lake mainly comes from the melted snow in Liupanshan Mountain and Meihua Mountain in summer. It was named when drawing a topographic map in January 1993.
