This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

It is the highest mountain near the south of Zhongshan Station, which has an elevation of 53 meters. It can be climbed from the station. The north slope is abrupt and it has round tip. A triangular flag was erected at the first investigation at the south pole.In order to echo of the Zhongshan Station and the mochou lake, a member of the mapping surveying group called E Dongchen named it Zi jin Shan, and it was named when surveying and mapping in January of 1989.
