Origin

This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

It is an ice covered area between the Tanxian Xuepo and the Datang Gu, and it is about 860 kilometers far from the Zhongshan Station. This area has drumlins and is very rugged on the east side of the investigation route. On the west side, the ice surface is evener but features big rise and fall. The ice surface elevation is about 2,890 meters and it was named when satellite images surveying and mapping in 2000.
