This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
It is a bay in front of Zhongshan Station. The shore of the curved coast is frozen by ice and snow throughout the year. The depth of water increases gradually from the bay to the outside space, so the big ships cannot enter the shore. It was named when surveying and mapping in 1989.
