Two islands at the NW coast of Fildes Peninsula, King George Island. Named during expeditions conducted from 1982 to 1985, organized by the Geographical Institute of the University of Heidelberg and the Geomorphological Laboratory of the Freie Universtät Berlin.

Named For

Berlin, 1871-1945 Capital of the German Reich; Capital of the Federal Republic of Germany since 1990, seat of the government since 1999.
