Narrative

The portion of the E coast of the Antarctic Peninsula between Nordenskjöld Coast (Cape Fairweather) and Foyn Coast (Cape Alexander), Weddell Sea. Discovered during expedition 1893/94 (vessels 'Jason' and 'Hertha') under the Norwegian Captain Carl Anton Larsen, financed by the Hamburg Company Woltereck & Robertson.

Named For

Oskar Fredrik Bernadotte (1829-1907), King of Sweden and Norway.
