A spur of the nunatak Gaußberg, 550 m WSW of Nordkap, Westbucht, Kaiser-Wilhelm-II.-Land (Wilhelm II Coast), Davis Coast. Surveyed during Deutsche Südpolar-Expedition (German South-Polar Expedition) 1901-1903 under Erich von Drygalski (1865-1949).

Theodor Lewald (1860–1947), director of a department of the Ministry of Interior.
