This name originates from Germany. It is part of the Germany Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A ca 25 km long ridge, terminating in the E with Mount McCarthy and in the W with Mount Burton, facing the accumulation zone of Trafalgar Glacier in the N as well as the junction with Wood Glacier and Osuga Glacier, Barker Range, Victory Mountains, Victoria Land. Surveyed during the German Antarctic North Victoria Land Expedition 1984/85 (Ganovex IV).
Franz Tessensohn (1939-2019), German geopysisist, expedition leader of Ganovex I - III and member of Ganovex IV .
