Ensemble d'émergences rocheuses en bordure de la calotte glaciaire continentale, sur la rive ouest de la langue glaciaire de l'Astrolabe, au sud de l'archipel de Pointe-Géologie ; nom donné en souvenir du docteur Jean Cendron, médecin de l'expédition, surnommé le Bon Docteur, qui s'est rendu à cet endroit en juin 1951 pour observer les manchots empereurs.
