Île, appelée auparavant Îlot de la Sainte-Blanche, située dans le fond de la baie Pierre-Lejay, à l'ouest de l'île du Navigateur, près de la falaise de glace côtière. Nom donné en raison des mesures gravimétriques qui y furent effectuées pour la première fois le jour de la sainte Blanche, le 9 juillet 1958 (calendrier des P.T.T. de l'époque).
