An ice-capped island, with a dome about 327 m high, about 85 km north of the coast of Queen Mary Land. Discovered by A.A.E. (1911-14). Named by Sir Douglas Mawson after Professor Erich von Drygalski, leader of the German Antarctic Expedition (1901-03) Drygalski in 1902.
