NE-most of the Bennett Islands (q.v.), Hanusse Bay, Loubet Coast, in association with the names of glaciologists grouped in this area was named after Helen Dick Megaw (b.1907), British physicist who in 1934 made accurate measurements of the cell dimensions of ice (APC, 1960, p.6; BA, 1961, p.190; BAS 250P sheet SQ 19-20/10, 1-DOS 1979).
