Narrative

on NE side of French Passage between Petermann Island and Vedel Islands, Graham Coast, were photographed from the air by FIDASE in 1956 and from the helicopter of HMS Protector in March 1958, and mapped from air photographs; so named from their scattered distribution (APC, 1959a, p.11; BA chart 3572, 12.viii.1960). Islotes Labbé, so called by CAE after Tte 1° C. Labbé L. (Labbé Rock, q.v.) (Chile. DNH chart 1502, 1962; IHA, 1974, p.173). Islote Stray, apparently referring to the SW-most of the islands (Chile. DNH, 1962, p.178).
