Narrative

A small island, about 27 m high, about 5 km north of Davis Station in the Vestfold Hills. The island was plotted from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37).

Named For

Named after Dr Desmond Lugg, medical officer at Davis in 1963, who visited the island for biological studies.
