An island about 1 km long, 3 km NNW of Plough Island off the Vestfold Hills. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Plogsteinen (The Plough Stone).
Renamed after W.C. Lucas, diesel mechanic at Davis, 1957.
