Narrative

A glacier flowing northwestward just south of Akebono Iwa. Mapped from air photos (1962) by JARE, and named Akebono Hyôga (dawn glacier). Topographic map on a scale of 1:25000 was made from surveys by JARE, 1972 and 1978. A small unnamed coastal rock exposes just south of the glacier.
