This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A rock exposure (2.84 km2) above a west-facing slope of continental ice. It is located at the south of Honnør Hyôga and at the east of Byvågåsane. Mapped from surveys and air photos by JARE, 1975-78, and named Honnør Oku-iwa (Honnør interior rock) in association with Honnør Hyôga.
