An isolated small island lying 40 km northwest of Padda in the central part of Lützow-Holmbukta. This island was discovered and taken air photos by JARE in 1970, and named Kaname Zima (pivot island), because the island formed the pivot of a fan-shaped floating ice tongue extended from Fletta.
