A mainly featureless ice plateau between 30°E and 45°E in the northeastern part of Dronning Maud Land. Field parties of JARE, 1959-61, studied the plateau, and the JARE Headquarters named Mizuho Kôgen. Mizuho is one of the ancient names of Japan.
