This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A mountain glacier flowing to southeast in the northern part of Monts Belgica. JARE took air photos in 1976 and surveyed in 1979-80, and named Namako Hyôga (sea cucumber glacier) because of its shape.
