This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A small nunatak (1932.2 m) with conspicuous cliff 6 km northwest of Tyô-ga-take in the central part of Yamato Sanmyaku. Surveyed by JARE in 1969, and named Syôzi Iwa. Syôzi or shôji is a Japanese paper sliding door.
