Narrative

Ridge-type mountain about 2 miles long, with peaks rising to 1600; lying about 4 miles north of Mt Daniel in the foothills of the Prince Olav Mountains. Discovered by the US Ross Ice Shelf Traverse Party under A P Crary, in the 1957-58, and named for Lieutenant Earl D Dryfoose, (Jr), pilot of USN Squadron VX-6 during Deep Freeze Operations.
