This name originates from New Zealand. It is part of the New Zealand Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A name, perhaps not a correct one, given by members of the Nothern Pary, led by Campbell, of the BAE, 1910-13, to a low plateau over a mile broad and sloping towards the sea, near the Murray Glacier from whence this feature takes its name.
