This name originates from New Zealand. It is part of the New Zealand Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
An ice dome about 1600m high, capping Cape Wheatstone at the southern end of Hallett Peninsula. It provides superb panoramic views of the Admiralty and Victory Ranges and the Tucker Glacier. Named for Dr E I Robertson, geophysicist and Chariman of the New Zealand Committee of the IGY, and a prime mover in the organisation of the NZGSAE, 1957-58, who gave this feature its name.
