A conspicuous, pointed peak about 1900m high, standing at the north side of the Ferrar Glacier and forming the highest point in the south-central part of Kukri Hills in Victoria Land. Discovered by the NAE, 1901-04. Named because it stands sentinel over the surrounding countryside.
