A re-entrant, about 19km wide at the mouth between Cape Timberlake to the west and Fishtail Point to the east, lying in the northwest part of Moore Bay between Shults Peninsula and the Worcester Range, along the west edge of the Ross Ice Shelf.
Discovered by the British National Antarctic Expedition (Discovery Expedition, BrNAE), 1901-04, which named this feature for Lieutenant Reginald W Skelton, RN, chief engineer of the expedition ship Discovery.
