A spur-like ridge about 12 miles long, extending generally north from the north slopes of the Polar Plateau, on the west side of Ramsey Glacier, in the Bush Mountains of the Queen Maud Range. Discovered and photographed by US Navy Operation Highjump, 1946-47, on the flights of 16 February 1947, and named by the US Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Walter A Sullivan of the "New York Times" staff, who has reported and written extensively on Antarctic expeditions and explorations.
