Mountain N of Oberstbreen in the W-most part of Balchenfjella, E in Sør-Rondane. After Gaston de Gerlache de Gomery, driving force of the renewed Belgium Antarctic activity, leader of BelgAE 1956-57 and builder of the base Roi Boudoin. Son of the leader of the Belgica expedition 1896-99, lieutenant Adrien Victor Joseph de Gerlache.
