Narrative

This bay of Long Fjord in the Vestfold Hills is a pupping site of Weddell seals. It holds fast ice in some years even when the ice has gone from other areas of the fjord.

Named For

Named after Dr Lloyd Fletcher, Medical Officer Davis 1978 who did a magnificient job tagging seals in Long Fjord. Without him the work would not have been done.
