This name originates from Poland. It is part of the Poland Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

Mountain range with peaks 300 m (southern) and 360 m (northern) high, between Piasecki Pass and Rolnicki Pass, at Keller Peninsula, Martel Inlet, Admiralty Bay area. Named in honour of Professor Dr Krzysztof Birkenmajer, leader of Earth-sciences group of the 1978/79 expedition to Arktowski Station. Stansbury's (1961) name Babylon Peak (62°04'S, 58°26' W) probably refers to the southern peak (330 m); his longitude is wrong.
