Small promontory south of Suszczewski Cove, Admiralty Bay. Name introduced in 1977 in honour of Dr George Llano, program-manager for biology and medicine, Office of Polar Programs, NSF (Washington, D.C.) by American ornithologists, W. Trivelpiece and N. Volkman.
