This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A small lake which is only one of three in the Vestfold Hills to have the animal Paralabidocera antarctica in it. The water is fresh on top, salty underneath with a great deal of biological activity. The maximum depth of the lake is 21 m.
