Narrative

Island 1 mi long lying in the S part of Errera Channel, off the W coast of Graham Land. Charted by the BelgAE under Gerlache, 1897-99. Surveyed by the FIDS from the Norsel in 1955, and named by the UK-APC for Emile Danco (1869-98), Belgian geophysicist and member of the BelgAE, who died on board the Belgica in the Antarctic.
